Ways to earn Money

I suppose, there are many ways of earning money, but there is always pain associated with it. The bigger the pain, the bulkier is the money. I have found out some ways of earning money without any pain associated whatsoever. Since there is no pain associated, the amount you get is also low. But, Paisa milraha hai, kahi se bhi mile, lelo :P

When I said, there is no pain associated with this way of earning, I need to define what exactly is not a pain to me. To me
  1. Clicking on spams and checkin what's inside it is not a pain.
  2. Receiving promotional or advertisement SMS is not a pain.
  3. Increasing my network (frens) is not a pain.
If you are someone who believe in such fundas. You may proceed reading further :).
If you understand Google adsense, it will be easy for you to understand the business model I am talking about. But then, who cares about the technicalities.

YouMint.com: http://www.youmint.com/network-Nirpan
It's basically a social networking site. But, I am more interested in the business model they have which make you earn money. Once you are registered to YouMint.com, you will receive 10 INR in your account, which they call wallet. Above that, you will also receive advertisement mails every now and then. If you click on the mail links provided, you earn 0.20 INR. You don't even need to read the content :P. If you bring in frens to your network, for every click they make on the ads they received, you will get 0.10 INR. Ofcourse, your frens have to be new users of youmint. Also for every click of your frens' fren, you will receive 0.05 INR. Once your wallet reach 150 INR, you can redeem it through cheque.

mGinger.com: (http://mGinger.com/index.jsp?inviteId=nirpan_th)
Unlike YouMint, I won't call it a social networking site but the two has a very similar business model. In YouMint you receive ad mails, here you receive ad SMSs. For every SMS you received, your account is credited with 0.20 INR. The frens's network model remains the same. However, an additional feature that attract me to mGinger is that you can receive discount sms coupons in exchange of 1 INR from your mGinger account. The discount sms coupon ranges from various restaurants to apparel shops in your city. The discounted amount is usually 10%. I have never tried the sms coupons myself but I am sure it will work :). On the other hand, you can also redeem your money in your account if it is more than 300 INR.

Now here comes the crucial part. If you are interested in earning like I do, join in but only through the below given link so that I can also earn through you :P.

Full Circle

I was an introvert kind all my school and engineering days. Because of which I always look up to my father, he was the extrovert kind, always ready to talk, always ready to share, always open to all. I wanted to be like him. But it was hard, I didn't know where to start, it was not so easy.

The opportunity for me to be someone like him came with my selection to an MBA program. It was going to be new place and new people and I can always start fresh leaving behind my past which had only few memories to be cherished. Moreover, I wanted to lose myself in the company of new friends as my past was hunting me and I didn't want to left alone clinging on to it. And in essence, I want to be a different person altogether.

I did well. I probably have made more friends after coming to IBA, Bangalore, than all my yesteryears put together. I found new wonderful friends who care for me and always want me to be happy. To them, I became the so called sweetheart. I bet if my school or engineering friends were asked to describe me, the opinions they give will be never accepted by my new friends. I am exactly the opposite of what I was some years ago. The point is, I am successful and becoming someone like my Dad, The extrovert kind. But “with every success there comes a predicament”.

Now that I have so many friends, I am not able to keep all of them happy. I can’t be the one whom all of them wants to be. Many a times it happens that to make one happy, I have to make the other unhappy. I need to make a choice now, whom should I be with. And where does my happiness figure in all these? What about doing things the way that makes me happy? Coming to think of it, I want to be left alone. I want to limit my friend circle now. In essence, I want to become the introvert kind. Life has completed a full circle. I am back to where I started. I no longer understand who I am. I feel like as if I am suffering from dual personality syndrome.

If only someone can feel it without expecting much from me and take me as what I am. If only…….

Banlieue 13

For a movie freak like me, it was an awesome experience to watch a movie called Banlieue 13. The movie was released way back in 2004. I watched the movie somewhere around 2006. The movie also known as District 13 or Suburb 13 had David Belle as one of the two protagonist. David Belle, largely credited as the founder of "Parkour".

Parkour: A sport or athletic activity in which the participant seeks to move quickly and fluidly through an area, often an urban locale, by surmounting obstacles such as walls and railings and leaping across open spaces, as in a stairwell or between buildings. (Dictionary.com)

It was a treat to watch Belle jumping around all over the place in the movie. And especially when deep down inside, I know I'll never be able to perform those stunts. The other protagonist Cyril Raffaelli comes with a background of Karate and Wushu. The movie was simply awesome with the deadly combo of David and Cyril.

However the sequel, Banlieue 13 Ultimatum just lost the momemtum and is nowhere close to it's predecessor. The essence of the movie which is the parkour was missing altogether in the movie. Personally, I was so disappointed with the movie. This may be because of the mental model I have that the movie is all about Parkour. But I think the movie also lack a strong story line .

Having said that, I am looking forward to another sequel. Hope it doesn't disappoint me next time :)

The Art of Enjoying a Maggi...

All you need is a packet of Maggi and two eggs. Offcourse, you need the other ingredients too :P.

Step 1: Just prepare the Maggi the way you like it. I don't think I need to elaborate on that. But, add some onions, tomato and green chillies when you boil the water, it brings in a different flavor. You might need to add some extra amount of salt as you have put in vegetables and the masala may not be sufficient.

Step 2: Make a perfect fried egg. Making fried egg is an art. Always add salt and pepper only when you are about to finish it frying. For first timers, making it may not be so easy. You are not suppose to break the yolk in the entire procedure. Try breaking the egg from the smaller end, holding it vertically with smaller end facing upward. If you don't know the reason find it out :P.

Step 3: Serve the Maggi with the fried egg toppings.

It may sound funny but it taste really good. Most of my friends love it.

On a weekend when you don't have money to take your gal out, making this treat may turn out to be a good idea. You never know, they may fall for the effort you put in.
And for singles like me who likes good food at the cheapest rate possible. Try having it with Beer!!!

Happy Eating...

Save your mobile bills

If you are someone who thinks SMS is the God's gift to mankind and prefer to communicate through SMS, then here is a bit of information for you. I am sure you will love it.

SMS nowadays charge anywhere from 10 paise to 1 INR if local and even more if STD. This is never a huge amount and easily disposable even if you are dead broke. But the point is why waste even a single penny when you can send it for free online? Further more, it is always comfortable to type in keyboard rather than typing in those small keypad of cellphones.

160by2.com --- 80 characters
Any Telecom Service Provider provides you 160 characters for SMS services. 160by2 provide you with only 80 characters and you can send 50 SMS per day. But the features that they have added recently is just too good to let go. You can actually send ISD SMS for free. Kuwait, UAE, Saudi, Singapore, Philippines & Malaysia are the countries where you can send free SMS :) However, you have to keep in mind that per day only 10 SMS are allowed to a number. But, I think thats a fair trade off.

indyarocks.com --- 130 characters
If you think 50 SMS per day or 10 SMS per day to a number is very less for you, then you can always go for Indyrocks: 130 characters and unlimited SMS but only within India

ibibo.com ---- 140 characters
mycantos.com ---146 characters

All of this services put in there advertisement at the end of your msg. Some of my friends think it's cheap. You may feel the same. However, with little extra payment you can avoid it. Almost all of this site provide you that facility.

There may be many more sites which provide you with free SMS service. But, as of now, those are the sites I know.

P.S. You need to be someone who has access to the internet all the time to frequently use this faciltities :)

Happy Free Messaging !!!

GI-Joe The Rise of Cobra

I have to admit, it is one of the best movies I have seen. The fact that it is a Sci-Fi interest me even more. As a child, I have grown up playing GI-Joe. I wish I could have seen this movie back on those days. I could have gone crazy over that movie. Having said that, I just watched the movie with the same enthusiasm I would have watch back then. Looking forward to watch the squeal as director Stephen Sommers has already said there will be a squeal :)
